Studies description
The student will learn to project and fulfil volumetrical and spatial objects. This will be done by studying the shapes, techniques and creative processes of arts applied to sculpture through the use of different materials (wood, stone, metal, etc.). Such work oscillates between personal creation and vocational work.
These Technical Degree studies are aimed at the research of a certain balance between the varied amount of resources available and the qualitative deepening in their knowledge and use. The professional action fields related may split towards two different directions: work design and projection and production and realization.

Vocational Training
Vocational Training is also a necessary requirement to obtain the certificate (30h). The process of vocational training, studios or workshops may consist of:
- Vocational practice in both private and public companies.
- Fulfilment of academically addressed work which can be integrated in the curriculum of the cycle. This may be carried out at the school.
- Fulfilment of activities carried out inside exchange programmes, both national and international.
The tutoring of training students in companies will be supervised by the tutor of the Technical Degree through direct contact with company managers and the students themselves. Training in companies enables the student to become familiar with the labour sphere (insertion objective) at the same time that it helps them to complete their learning of their favourite vocational field (qualification objective).
Career Possibilities
It includes a wide range of activities related to sculpture which can be both carried out as an autonomous or an associate artist within the frame of a company.
It focuses on the field of volumetrical and three-dimensional objects, all of them related either to the field of art (sculptural work projection and fulfilment in all kinds of materials), architecture (decoration, renewal, maintenance and rebuilding), restoration, design (creation of prototypes), stage design and ephymeral stalls for different events. In general, all work involved will be related to carrying out personal projects of spatial intervention.
