Studies description
These studies deal with the creation of images for all printing fields. We encourage multidisciplinary teaching that helps students to analyse and deepen into every aspect of the communicative side of images, always bearing in mind the expressiveness and aesthetics of visual language.
From teaching technical and procedural skills, reinforcing visual memory, mastering plastic language and the knowledge of previous artistic work, we focus teaching towards the development of aesthetic sensitivity, image content, communication systems and the role of illustration in contemporary culture and society.
During all the period that these studies have been available, we have carefully considered the updating of contents and technological resources. We have also taken into account the constant analysis of artistic, cultural and social realities that social progress has brought over.

Final Degree Project
The students' Final Project is tutored by either a teacher from the school or an external specialist. This enables the student to find the common threat of all knowledge acquired and to focus on the topic chosen. This will enable them to prove their level and effort.
The student will have to carry out a simulation project that covers any of the fields of Illustration. The proposal of such project is free and it includes the conception, creation and fulfilment of a piece of work whose final destination could be printable.
Vocational Training
Vocational Training is also a necessary requirement to obtain the certificate (120h). The process of vocational training, studios or workshops may consist of:
- Vocational practice in both private and public companies.
- Fulfilment of academically addressed work which can be integrated in the curriculum of the cycle. This may be carried out in the school.
- Fulfilment of activities carried out inside exchange programmes, both national and international.
The tutoring of training students in companies will be supervised by the tutor of the Technical Degree through direct contact with company managers and the students themselves. Training in companies enables the student to become familiar with the labour sphere (insertion objective) at the same time that it helps them to complete their learning of their favourite vocational field (qualification objective).
Career Possibilities
Students may be able to work as free-lance professionals in a publishing house, in the press, in advertising, in techno-scientific fields, in audiovisual animation or even by taking part of a team or a company specialised in any of these fields.
